New milestone for our project with BIOFOS!

LAB is starting its electrical and commissioning activities on the implementation of the new flue gas treatment system at the BIOFOS Sludge Treatment Plant in Copenhagen, Denmark.
BIOFOS is Denmark’s largest wastewater utility, treating the wastewater from 1.2 million inhabitants in the Copenhagen metropolitan area 🌍

After completing the major phase of mechanical erection, the site has now adopted a new pace: Existing equipment are being dismantled to connect LAB new FGT system.
Our team has initiated commissioning with the objective to be ready in October for tomorrow’s enhanced flue gas cleaning.

🔜 The next stage will be decisive :
• Connection to existing process
• Removal of the existing residue silo and erection of a new one
• Installation of new activated carbon system
• First start of the equipment.

A challenging step ahead, as all subcontractors will be working simultaneously on site – requiring close coordination to ensure safe and smooth coactivity in a tight time schedule.
