VGBE Workshop in Riga

LAB had the pleasure of taking part in the vgbe energy e.V. Workshop – Flue Gas Cleaning 2025 in Riga.
Two days of insightful discussions, innovative ideas, and valuable connections with experts from across Europe.

During the event, we presented our work (Jane Abi Aad and François Vuong) on PFAS evaluation after Waste-to-Energy (WtE) processes — one of the very first projects of its kind in Europe. We are proud to contribute to this crucial challenge and grateful for the collaboration with IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute that made it possible.

The workshop was also a great opportunity to discover a new city, a new culture, and exchange perspectives beyond technical topics.
